Special Note :
Play School Syllabus in Tamil Nadu, has been issued by Department of Elementary Education, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Code of Regulations for Play Schools in Tamil Nadu (Play School Law in Tamil Nadu), doesn’t provide any specific details / outlines regarding ‘Syllabus’ or ‘Curriculum Framework’. However, Department of Elementary Education, Chennai, Tamil Nadu has separately issued document titled as ‘Play School Syllabus’. Although, this document is drawn in a mixed format of ‘Syllabus’ as well as ‘Curriculum Framework’.
With reference to Curriculum, three terms are used – Syllabus, Curriculum Framework and Curriculum.
Curriculum development is a step wise process. First, Syllabus is prepared. Second, Curriculum Framework is prepared. After that, Third, complete Curriculum is prepared.
Internationally, Education Ministries, Education Departments, Curriculum Boards or Education Boards, issues statutory guidelines and practices, which shall be followed by educators and curriculum developers to develop the Curriculum.
In India, on Central basis, none of the Education Boards, Education Ministries, Education Departments or Curriculum Boards have issued any Play School Syllabus or Play School Curriculum Framework, which is required to be followed (statutorily) to develop complete Play School Curriculum. However, Ministry of Women and Child Development has issued Curriculum Framework document for Early Childhood Care and Education (that is – ECCE, Play School / Preschool / Nursery / Day care / Child Care / Kindergarten).
For such states of India, where, Play School Syllabus or Play School Curriculum Framework is issued by Education Ministries, Education Departments, Curriculum Boards or Education Boards, The ZERO Curriculum™ provides Play Schools with multiple option of Day wise Curriculum (also Ready Format Day Wise Curriculum inbuilt with Training).

Three Options for Play Schools situated in Tamil Nadu :
For Play Schools situated in Tamil Nadu, The ZERO Curriculum™ provides three options –
