Theme – Introduction of My Name

Objective: To help children learn about themselves and their peers by introducing their names and relevant information.

Materials required: Puppets or other visual aids (optional)
Gather the children in a circle, and introduce yourself, any assistants or helpers, and any puppets or visual aids that will be used.
Use a puppet or visual aid to introduce the concept of introducing oneself. Explain that everyone has a unique name and that they can share other relevant information about themselves.
Start by having the puppet introduce itself and share a little bit about its interests or hobbies. Then, pass the puppet to the next person in the circle.
Each child should take a turn introducing themselves, holding the puppet if desired, and sharing their name, age, and any other relevant information they wish to share, such as their favorite color or animal.
Encourage children to listen carefully and be respectful while their peers are speaking. If desired, you can use a visual aid to help children remember each other’s names.
If time allows, you can also encourage children to ask questions or make comments about their peers’ introductions.

His review of ICDS Curriculum of Bihar was accepted for presentation at the ECCE Conference of Ambedkar University Delhi. Raman has provided curriculum development, teacher training, and assessment services to premium private preschools. He has also conducted a six-month research project (unpublished) into a multi-grade, multi-level curriculum by conducting classes at SDMC Primary (Govt.) School, where children from underprivileged/low socio-economic families study. With his extensive experience and expertise, Raman is committed to making a positive impact in the education sector by improving curriculum, training teachers, and conducting research to ensure the best outcomes for students.
